Our Story
In the back streets of Kyoto, there is an ancient magical cherry blossom tree that appeared within a whimsical bookshop. No one knows when it arrived, just that it holds a beauty and makes every day whimsical. However, no one knows that when the petals fall, they do not drop; they awaken into petal spirits called Blossis. Each Blossi has a single purpose, and that is to create.
Driven by curiosity, the Blossis travel the world in search of inspiration, discovering enchanted gardens, woodland creatures, afternoon tea parties, fish market adventures, city exploring, and hidden wonders along the way. Their adventures become the heart of every collection we create, transforming their discoveries into bookmarks filled with charm, magic, and imagination. When your bookmark arrives, know that a Blossi carefully crafted it, believing it was always meant to find its way to you.
About the brand
Pretty Little Bookmark Co was created to bring a little more magic into everyday reading. What began with repurposed treasures from a handmade jewellery business has blossomed into a whimsical world of handcrafted bookmarks inspired by imagination, storytelling, and wonder.

She is a luminary and helps her fellow spirits by inspiring them through passion, creativity, and her kind heart. As the leader, she makes sure each crafted bookmark reaches the correct reader it was meant for. As one of the first spirits, she guides and leads with passion and loves to create beautiful bookmarks for all occasions.
Sundrop
Position / Role
The yellow petal spirit, a rare cherry blossom spirit made from the sunshine filtering through the sakura tree. She is the artist and designer behind Pretty Little Bookmark Co. Sundrop leads a large team of blossoms to help brainstorm and create beautiful bookmark designs. The spirits rely on her because she is capable, clever, and always cheerful, making her a reliable and compassionate artist.
Mellow
Position / Role
The blue petal spirit born from a rainy day in Kyoto - is another rare spirit. He is the maker of the bookmarks. With his brothers, they all work hard to make sure each piece is consistent in design and complete with minimal imperfections. While they try their hardest, handmade designs will have tiny imperfections in them, but that makes it that much more whimsical. Mellow is hardworking, methodical, and resourceful. He loves working with his brothers to create the perfect bookmark.
Chi
Position / Role
The silver petal spirit, a rare petal spirit made when the stormy clouds brew over the sakura tree. She is a lover of technology, of the bright cities and bustling neon lights. A futuristic atmosphere is where Chi thrives. Chi helps with all the IT and tech for Pretty Little Bookmark Co. She is your customer service queen, your FAQ guru, and helps ensure that all your pieces are delivered correctly.
